Hey everyone! My name is Jennie and hopefully you’ll be seeing a fair bit of my work on the site in the near future!

I write articles, some serious, some humorous, about issues that concern us women and our lives. If I have something to say on a matter, there’s most probably an article in the process of being written about it. I will also be bringing you some light entertainment in the form of our ladies bar serial, with regular episodes and a whole bunch of colourful characters. But I will say no more! You’ll just have to wait and see what more I’ve got in store!

 I hope you enjoy my writing- it’s something I’ve had a passion for ever since I could form a sentence, and since then I have been working on novel material, written several short stories, had a poem published in an anthology, and written several published articles for my university magazine. I also used to work on The News newspaper in Portsmouth so I’ve experienced a variety of different literary settings!

Through the Ladies Night website I hope to further develop my writing portfolio and audience, and provide an informative yet fun array of stories and articles for your reading pleasure. Hopefully I will also be illustrating my work here and there!
